Recently we had a couple of visits at Très Bien Shop Malmo. The Japanese edition of Elle Decoration and leading lifestyle Hong Kong magazine Milk X both came by for scheduled interviews and to take som pictures. Nice people!

Born to Swedish parents, Patrik Ervell is New York based, by way of California. Definitely one of the most interesting new menswear designers out there. To quote HE Magazine “A fashion -insider´s favourite”. Ervell worked as a contributing fashion editor for V Magazine, got a major in political science, took classes at Parsons School of Design before setting up his own line in 2005.
Modern technological fashion with romantic touches, he cites Helmut Lang and Raf Simons as influences. Ervell aims to push fashion forward, - "My muse is somebody who is interested in the future, and in what the future can be like".

Olle Baertling is one of few Nordic artists that made himself a name also outside of Sweden in the late 50s. He developed his own style based on glowing colors in triangular shapes. Today he's concidered a moden classic.
We have two limited styles of t-shirts from the collaboration between Minimarket and Moderna Muséet (contemporary art museum in Stockholm) wich is a part of Moderna Muséets exhibition with Olle Baertling.

Our favourite Norwegian designer Siv Stoldal (Actually she lives and work in London, but anyway...) has sent us some great pieces from her menswear collection for fall/winter. Having observed and researched those clothes typically worn in Tyssøy, in the Norwegian countryside and also East London, where her studio is located has influenced the collection titeld COVER UP.
Some weeks ago Stoldal took her findings back to these two specific environments, to physically COVER UP the actual landscapes with garments from the collection.

Just in is Belgian fashion designer Raf Simons and his menswear collection RAF by Raf Simons. You are probably familiar with the name Raf Simons but anyway: Raf studied industrial design, but after a few years of self-study, he became a menswear designer in 1995.
Initially, he worked with Walter Van Beirendonck in Paris, where he was exposed to the work of Martin Margiela and Jean-Paul Gaultier. In summer 2005 he was appointed as creative director for Jil Sander.
