Jean Touitou graduated from the Sorbonne in Paris with a history degree and no intention of becoming a fashion designer. Entirely by accident, he landed his first job with Kenzo, followed by gigs at agnès b and Irie before deciding to go his own way in 1987 with the launch of A.P.C. From shoes to coats,   A.P.C. carries the basics that you need for building a good-looking, clean outfit produced with great craftsmanship. A.P.C. is short for Atelier de Production et de Création.

B CLOTHING
Jose Neves opened the fashion store called b STORE in London 2001 and took the extraordinary move of housing new and graduate designer clothing alongside his own fashion brand, b CLOTHING. Soon collaborations with designers such as Peter Jensen and Roksanda Ilincic followed, among the fans counts Alexander McQueen, Bowie & Kate Moss. Awarded SHOP OF THE YEAR in 2006.

BURFITT
When fashion-designer and illustrator Lovisa Burfitt moves to Paris in 2003 she was at this time screenprinting t-shirts based on her illustrations. Buyers from some well-known boutiques in Paris had seen the t-shirts worn by the designer, and asked if they could buy them. Now with a full range collection, Burfitt is carried in some of the best stores worldwide.

C.NEEON
Clara Kraetsch & Doreen Schulzs art- based brand from Berlin, c.neeon, was the winner of the 2005 Hyères Festival, a prestigious Europe-wide young -designer competition. What they showed charmed and impressed the judges with the energy and integrity of its twenty-first century adherence to Bauhaus design principles—all bright hand-blocked prints and graphic shapes.

CALL OF THE WILD
London based brand Call Of The Wild was found by designers Kai and Sunny. The Duo has collaborated with some of the biggest name in the industry including Levis, Nike and Maharishi. Kai and Sunny's work with graphic design has made them nominated for a silver D&AD for their international advertising with some of the biggest companys in the world.

CARIN WESTER
Carin Wester graduated from Beckmans College of Design in Stockholm in In 1998 where she studied Fashion. After graduation she started working as a designer for Paul & Friends until she started her own brand – Carin Wester, in 2003. Since the launch of her own brand, Carin has been awarded "Designer of the year" (2005) by Swedish ELLE for her design.

COMME DES GARÇONS
The label was started in Tokyo by Rei Kawakubo in 1969 and became succesful in Japan throughout the 70's. A few years later, the Comme des Garçons debut show in Paris created a storm of controversy for its predominate use of black and distressed fabrics. TRÈS BIEN SHOP carries the PLAY, PARFUMS and WALLETS lines.

IT’S OUR THING
The collaboration between Swedish graphic designer PMKFA, based in Tokyo, and Osaka based screen-printer Sweatshop Union materialized in early 2006. After they for years had by themselves grown the will to create something of their own. The aim with the brand is to make stuff where each shirt stand on it’s own and to keep a high quality level in terms of material but also about the graphics.

MINIMARKET
Minimarket is a Swedish clothing label designed by the three sisters Sofie, Pernilla and Jennifer Elvestedt. The trio was selected by Swedish Elle and H&M to be the best new designer label of the year 2006. The design philosophy is based on using opposites for perfect balance. It’s proper contra sensual, comfortable combined with extravagant. The three sisters all vary widely in taste and style and it’s the inspiration in finding a unifying path in design that inspires the group.

Nike is known for their well-crafted sporting gear and training equipment, easily recognizable swoosh logo and the just do it slogan. Nike is the Greek Goddess of victory, hence a fitting role model for the company. NOM DE GUERRE
Nom de Guerre, est. 2003 in New York, is a creative collective founded by Holly Harnsongkram, Wil Whitney, Devon Turnbull, and Isa Saalabi. Imagine the look of a high-end Army or Navy outpost with an emphasis on utilitarian basics. That’s the significant expression of Nom de Guerre. This season we present the Spring/Summer collection: “Under The Open Sky”.

PATRIK ERVELL
Born to Swedish parents, Patrik Ervell is New York based, by way of California. Definitelyone of the most interesting new menswear designers out there. To quote HE Magazine “A fashion -insider´s favourite”. Ervell worked as a contributing fashion editor for V Magazine, got a major in political science, took classes at Parsons School of Design before setting up his own line in 2005.

SIV STOLDAL
Norwegian designer Siv Stoldal has been creating and showing collections since graduating from Central Saint Martin's in 1999. She is known for her well crafted, conceptual, but totally wearable pieces. She not only designs collections but studies the relationship between clothing and the wearer. For the past two seasons, Siv has been showing at "Man" in London Fashion Week. Recent projects include a collaboration with Fred Perry.

SIX EIGHT SEVEN SIX
The french student revolution took place in 1968. The year of the punk rock revolution was 1976.This is the short story of how 6876 got it's name. Since the start, back in 1995, designer and founder Kenneth McKenzie has built up a loyal fanbase with an appreciation for his minimalistic design and special touch for details. Recently, the magazine Arena listed McKenzie as one of the most important names who shaped menswear in the 90s.

TSUMORI CHISATO
Known for her colorful embroidery and flowing fabrics Tsumori Chisato has gained a cult of following among fashion-conscious young women. She describes her work as “sexy but cute and funny,”. She attended Tokyo's Bunka Fashion College and graduated in 1976. She began work with Issey Miyake in 1977 and Miyake became some what of a mentor for Chisato. She started her own line in 1983. Her talent and putting in long hours at her atelier in combination with the ability to surround herself with extremely able and talented people has positioned her as one of Japan’s leading fashion empires.
